The population of Grand Prairie is young and vibrant—the median age being in the 30’s.

The beauty of Texas is found in nearby Joe Pool Lake and the stunning surrounding vistas—just short drives from Grand Prairie. Fishing, boating, kayaking, and other outdoor sports are popular activities for visitors of the local state parks and federal recreational areas.

Grand Prairie hosts a wide variety of things to do. From breathtaking botanical gardens to the Texas Motor Speedway, Grand Prairie has you covered. Our Carla Vista residents have reported enjoying the historic cultural district, the beautiful Fort Worth water gardens park, the famous Cowgirl museum, and the dynamic shows taking place at many of the local theatres.

Grand Prairie is also great for business opportunities, known for being one of the largest industrial districts in the state. Our residents push themselves to the next level with a wide range of business and career options. There are also a variety of job possibilities in the Fort Worth distribution industry.

The location of Grand Prairie is ideal. It lies nestled between two major cities—Dallas and Ft. Worth—12 miles away from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
